Self-Talk...Loving or Unkind?
Creating New, Caring, and Open Ways of Being with OurSelves
It often seems the only thing that stops us from living in the moment happily, connected and content is how we think and feel… about ourselves. Beliefs frame our lives. There is nothing more important than to be aware of than how we think of ourselves, our “self-talk.” The way we talk to and about ourselves becomes how we feel, and how we feel is reflected in our actions, and our actions define our outer life.
This is not about getting “rid” of our challenging, unkind, judgmental, unloving thoughts of self. It is about noticing the time and energy we give them when they arise. And perhaps, if we acknowledge these thoughts in a way that they can be heard, in order for them to be released and become less powerful in our lives, maybe, just maybe, if we are courageous…they will be relegated to the dust bin?
This IS about choosing to give attention, love and encouragement to those thoughts that encourage and support us, thoughts which bring joy, happiness, peace and hope..
If you and a few friends would like to experience a Gathering with a few friends exploring these ideas,
please let me know, and we can set up an online class.
